Sally Bjornsen

2023 Bio Shot.jpeg

"With an eye for spotting both emerging and established artists, Sally Bjornsen, has curated an exceptional and renowned team of commercial photographers, DPs, stylists, post production specialists, and producers."

Sally Bjornsen began her marketing career working as a brand manager and advertising executive for internationally known brands such as Nike, The North Face, Women’s World Cup Soccer and Nordstrom. After years of working in the corporate environment Sally decided to follow her entrepreneurial dream of opening an artist management agency. Twenty years later, the established agency has grown to include a full roster of commercial photographers, DPs, photo stylists, post production specialists and producers.

Bjornsen loves coaching the artists she represents as they create and evolve their "visual brands." Her experience as a client and advertising executive is invaluable as she works with each individual to edit their portfolios and set strategy for attracting clients.

Bjornsen is also a mother, published author, museum junkie, and outdoor enthusiast.

Sally Bjornsen is the founder and owner of Sally Reps & Co., a commercial photography agency she has run for over 24 years. Before becoming a rep, Sally spent her career on the client side — as a brand manager and advertising executive for Nike, The North Face, Women's World Cup Soccer, and Nordstrom. She knows what creative directors need from a shoot because she used to be one. That perspective shapes everything about how she works: how she edits portfolios, how she coaches her artists, how she talks to clients.

Sally started the agency in 2002, three months pregnant, the week the dot-com bubble burst. A photographer she had worked with called and asked if she would represent her. Sally said yes. Within a month she had five photographers and two stylists. On the way to the hospital to have her son, she signed the catalog client she still works with today.

Over two decades later, Sally Reps & Co. represents photographers, directors, stylists, and post-production specialists for advertising, brand, editorial, and motion productions — working with agencies and brands across the country from a base in the Pacific Northwest.

Sally loves the people in this industry. She coaches her artists on portfolio editing, visual brand strategy, and client development — and has spent 24 years building relationships with the creative directors, art buyers, and brand managers who hire them.

Bjornsen is also a published author, a museum regular, and an outdoor enthusiast.
