Chona Kasinger was born in the Philippines, and was raised between Metro Manila and Seattle.

Her photography took off during her freshman year of college when she got the opportunity to shoot local musicians and bands. Quickly national photo editors took note of her images, leading to editorial assignments with publications such as Rolling Stone, The New York Times, GQ, ESPN, Glamour, Bloomberg Businessweek, Travel and Leisure, Bon Appetit, Fortune, and TIME.

Commercial clients soon followed, awarding Chona campaigns for clients such as Verizon, Amazon, Starbucks, Kraft-Heinz, Etsy, Sierra Club, AARP, Viacom, American Kennel Club, Mazda, Converse, Philadelphia Cream Cheese, Live Nation, St. Germain and Casio.

Chona is an advocate for diversity and equity in the photography industry and is a proud member of Women Photograph, Diversify Photo, Authority Collective and The Luupe. She has received recognition and acclaim from American Photography 38, American Photography 37, and PDN Ultimate Music Moment.

Chona lives in Seattle and loves to bake, peruse magazine stands and collect photography books, and also holds an FAA Part-107 drone pilot certification.
